The Eurogenda...Things are already pretty fouled up. The Eurogendarmerie is a bit like the Euro, not all member states are part of it yet, but it is inevitable if we remain within the EU. I don't know about you but I no longer feel that I can trust our police, whereas years ago, in my youth, I had the utmost trust and respect for them. And I don't believe that I, and millions of others, are becoming radical and anti-authority merely to make up for our missed radicalism in youth.Gregghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10323165429887622931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23662827.post-51616779468812741852008-02-22T15:54:00.000+00:002008-02-22T15:54:00.000+00:00That's actually the start of the next debate "How ...That's actually the start of the next debate "How to totally foul things up".Mark Wadsworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07733511175178098449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23662827.post-25766687119928636612008-02-22T12:07:00.000+00:002008-02-22T12:07:00.000+00:00Hello Mark. Yes our police are rooted in policing by consent, almost to the extent of us being self-policing, but that is changing and will continuee to change, especially as more and more people challenge the authority of the state as represented/defended by the police. As ever increasing numbers of people, especially 'conservatives', become disillusioned with the police and oppose an ever more authoritarian state, the more miltaristic will become the police.Gregghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10323165429887622931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23662827.post-22889580339988210452008-02-22T11:55:00.000+00:002008-02-22T11:55:00.000+00:00The ENglish police have strictly non-military root...The ENglish police have strictly non-military roots, so that's the end of that debate.Mark Wadsworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07733511175178098449noreply@blogger.com
