Oldham East and the Libertarian Party

Earlier today I blogged about Phil Woolas and the election in Oldham East being re-run.

I then suggested to Andrew Withers, the  Deputy Leader of the Libertarian Party, that we put up a candidate.

Andrew then got back to me suggesting that I might like to be said candidate.

So I now find myself Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Oldham East.

Funny old day.

Excellent news.

I think that blogging is a great way of formulating arguments and having the replies ready.

Good luck.

Between Nigel Farage and the incompetents in charge now in the north west UKIP are dead Gregg. Some of us will be coming to help you in Oldham.

Good luck.

Sad really George, but I'm not surprised. Wonder if you're the George I think you are?

Pretty much my reaction Anonymous. Especialy as I had a phone call from a certain George a couple of months ago informing me of the collapse of his branch and the mass departure of members from UKIP.
