I was at Selhurst Park when Eric dished out some retribution to an obnoxious prat. I was there when he came back from the ban at Old Trafford and scored with a penalty against Liverpool. Sadly I missed the chance to be an extra when they filmed Looking for Eric in Manchester.
But he's in the news again, and here's that video:
In my position, not being very good with figures, I'm not sure whether I should max my overdraft on December 7th, or clear it thus depriving the bank of some interest. I'll have to contemplate that one.

Eric Cantona
There are times when an event makes a huge impact on your life, completely unexpectedly. That night at Selhurst Park was one.
Me and my dad were in the opposite stand, but knew that what happened was momentous. Eric had gone from legend to God.
Living in South East London at the time, among fantastic people in Plumstead which was Charlton territory, Palace fans were famously detested as whining whingers and misfits, and rightly so.
