We Are All Scum

Political correctness has created a vile streak of self loathing in certain sections of society and it's being propagated, in no small part, by the education system. If we had kids of school age I would be loathe to send them to state schools which increasingly appear to be nothing more than state indoctrination centres. Last week a teenage lad was reported to the police because he looked at the UK Independence Party website as part of a project on migration. That is nothing less than totalitarian bollocks and the school should be closed down and the staff involved barred from ever going near children again, either professionally or otherwise. If they have children they should be taken from them and adopted by reasonable, tolerant people.

Recently in Rochdale an imam was murdered. The powers that be and the media immediately called for calm among the large muslim population of the town in the light of an act of obviously islamophobic murder by a white, right wing extremist. It was obvious wasn't it? It has now been quietly released that Mohammed Hussain Syeedy has been charged with his murder.

There has been a lot of coverage this last week or two about the sentencing of a paedophile ring in Rotherham. Throughout the BBC coverage the word 'muslim' hasn't been used once in either reports or interviews about the case. I suppose, although there is a pattern of paedophilia in towns with large muslim populations, that to state it would be racist or, God forbid, islamophobic.

Now I'm as broadminded as the next bloke so if a bloke wants to indulge in the ultimate act of self mutilation and chop his penis off then grow a pair of chemically induced breasts then that's his business. But I have the right to question it and profess disapproval if I wish. According to the trainee fascists (aka students, see first paragraph) of York University that would make me 'transphobic' (click on link ). You see in the new politically correct fascist era to question any current orthodoxy makes you a phobic. Question open borders? Xenophobe. Don't approve of gay marriage? Homophobe. Not keen on islam? Islamophobe. Here's a new one: Don't approve of political correctness? Twatophobe.

Then there is Greg Dyke chairman of the English Football Association. Last week he was again banging on about needing more ethnic minorities involved in senior positions in the FA. Why? Why do governing bodies of anything have to be a cross representation of society? Do people who are not white automatically think differently to white people? I don't think so. I've seen many top class football teams in England with a disproportionately high percentage of non-white players. It doesn't bother me. It only ever seems to be white, middle class pinko liberals who obsess about race any more. Back in the 1970s there were virtually no black players in English football, today there are countless. Black players are not in teams because of positive discrimination, they are there on merit. If the do gooders left us all alone and stopped banging on about race we would all rub along very nicely thank you very much. So piss off and leave us alone.

I can't help but conclude that the politically correct, in their arrogant, patronising way regard those of us who are normal as scum, just waiting to  be phobic or guilty of an ism. Well we're not and won't go along with your vile indoctrination.

Political Correctness? National Self-Loathing More Like!

There are idiots then there are the politically correct, far worse than the most idiotic of idiots. I haven't been blogging much in the last twelve months because I've been working hard, and doing very long hours, building a new business.

Now I know that will be a surprise to John Bercow, who thinks that Eastern Europeans are the ones who work hard and the English are lazy, slovenly bastards, but it happens to be true. Ironic really that a man who makes a very substantial living sitting on a throne shouting 'order, order' and living in palatial state apartments in the Palace of Westminster should be so arrogant as to slag off those of us in the real world but eh, he's got little man syndrome I suspect, reinforced by a gobby wife who towers above him just to emphasise his diminutive stature.

Then the news today has been full of crap from the new Children's Laureate, Malorie Blackman, banging on about how white parents don't buy books with black people on the cover. How she knows that I'm not sure, unless she's done a survey of several million people. But I suspect she's just making as offensively sweeping a generalisation as the BNP and their ilk are wont to do. Bear in mind this is a woman who writes books, for children, about whites being in a minority in this country and being oppressed and victimised by the black majority. She also claims to have felt 'invisible' growing up because she read books that didn't have black people in them. Didn't put her off becoming a successful writer though did it? I wonder if in her parallel universe there would be a white Children's Laureate?

Then in the Torygraph Tanya Aldred is banging on about how disgusting it is that there will not be a female cricket commentator when the Ashes are played this summer. Big bloody deal. Personally I find female commentators on football, cricket and rugby shrill and off putting and am glad it will be an all male commentary team. I also don't like the idea of male midwives, not that I've ever needed one, and actually feel much more comfortable seeing a female GP rather than a male GP. If that makes me guilty of any 'isms' then shame, but I don't give a shit.

Of course the real reason for political correctness is to cow us all into submission. When whites loathe themselves, men loathe themselves, the able bodied, the heterosexuals and other 'traditional' groups loathe themselves and they all loathe christians the job will have been done. We'll be mere cogs in the wheel of a powerful and controlling police state, bullied and pushed about because we hate ourselves and are too afraid to fight back .

Gay Marriage

It seems that Cameron's social democrat government is determined to alienate as many people in the country as possible. Lately we've had the fiasco of the PCC elections which 80% of the population couldn't be mithered getting involved with.

Now they are determined, despite a total lack of interest from the populace at large be they gay or straight, to redefine marriage. Yet things that do concern the public, such as the EU, are completely ignored. I suppose as this government has no mandate they have no reason to worry what the electorate want or believe.

Christians, Gays and Freedom

This is my reaction to this story.

First of all if I had a hotel, which I haven't, I would not care whether a same sex couple using my establishment was gay or straight. What they do in the privacy of their bedroom is no concern of mine.

Secondly I would not stay in a hotel that advertised itself as a 'gay hotel'. I wouldn't have a problem with a hotel advertising itself as such, I would just prefer not to stay there. Similarly I would prefer not to stay at a hotel that described itself as a 'christian hotel', despite being a practising Roman Catholic. Both designations imply to me establishlishments whose owners are so obsessed with one aspect of their lives that they forget that they are actually a plain old hotel and would probably bore me to death within minutes.

But I see no reason why christians can't refuse to accomodate gay couples or why gay hotels shouldn't be allowed to refuse heterosexual couples accomodation. I wouldn't stay in a hotel where people of whatever persuasion or belief  were banned, but it should be the decision of the owners and the state should keep out.

Nick Clegg And The Lib Dem Bigots

The Liberal Democrats make me sick, especially little Nicky Clegg. Do we really expect the Deputy Prime Minister to behave like a tantrum throwing, attention seeking teenager?

He has now called those of us who oppose gay marriage 'bigots'. How very grown up. But of course, in true Lib Dem fashion, he withdrew the remarks when he saw the damning reaction when he circulated advance copies of his speech. Why do people like Clegg assume that those who disagree with them are 'bigots' or worse?

For what it's worth I firmly believe that marriage is an institution for a man and a woman. Further than that I do not believe it to be my business, or anybody else's, what consenting adults do together in the bedroom. That does not make me a bigot Mr Clegg. 

Claim An 'Ism' And Avoid Jail

I find this story quite appalling. A girl thinks a man is eyeing her up in a nightclub so she sticks a glass in his face. Her excuse is that she was being sexually harrassed at work, she's a plumber. The judge felt sorry for her, not the victim, and gave her a lighter sentence as a result.

So next time somebody pisses you off, stick a glass in his face then claim you are being discriminated against at work and hey presto, it's no longer a race/sexism/homophobia or whatever card, it's a get out of jail card!

Homophobia-The New Blasphemy

The Pope's recent visit prompted a vile outpouring of abuse from a tiny minority of militant atheists in this country, many of whom seemed also to be militant gay campaigners. I don't have a problem with people being critical, that's life, but the obnoxious abuse was ill mannered at best, disgustingly unnecessary and vulgar at worst.

Today Paul Daniels is the target of their bile and venom. So what has he done to warrant the vile personal abuse being directed his way by the militant, gay, angry brigade? He apparently told Craig Revel-Horwood, a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, not to give up his day job tasting sausages. Blue touch paper lit and bang, within minutes it seems a torrent of pink fury had been unleashed and complaints went into the BBC. The mighty keyboard warriors on Twitter went into overdrive too it seems, calling him foul mouthed names and demanding that terrible things happen to him, including death. Of course, those who cry most to be tolerated are often the most intolerant and bigoted towards others.

So why was this torrent unleashed at Daniels? Because the judge he aimed his comment at is gay. But, more relevantly, he is this year's frontman for British Sausage Week. It says it all about today's apparent lust to be offended that both men have today had to issue statements to try and calm the situation. Even when Revel-Horwood, the 'victim', has questioned what there was to be offended about the angry bigade have declared that Daniels was probably being homophobic anyway. When they are determined to be offended and angry they will find something to offend and anger them in anything. How sad.

So these last few weeks we've seen vile abuse directed at religion and a religious leader, and vile abuse directed at a man on the telly for mentioning tasting sausages, which apparently is homophobic. It's a funny old world.

A Nation of Wimps and Whiners

So one of the judges on X Factor has been in the brown stuff for 'homophobic' comments. I wondered what she'd said. I wondered if she had been advocating the extermination of homosexuals or at least re-criminalising homosexuality. But no, the evil, wicked Minogue woman, with reference to a contestant changing a song lyric to love for a woman rather than a man, said:

''If you're to believe everything you read in the papers, then you didn't need to change the gender references in the song.''

My God, what an evil thing to say!

Following on from the 'race row' around Anton du Beke it seems that elements in this country have very seriously lost all sense of proportion.

Of course if you dare to even mildly question certain politically correct givens then you are immediately branded a something-or-otherphobe. Quite pathetic.

Politically Correct Fascism

Here is a superb article from Minette Marin in yesterday's Sunday Times.

The intolerant and totalitarian nature of political correctness never ceases to amaze me, but worse, it never ceases to amaze me that people don't fight back.

To me no right thinking person could support gay adoption.It is wrong. If I had a child about to be adopted, I would never, ever give him up for adoption if I thought it would be a gay couple. So for me the following paragraph says it all, and, most importantly shows why I'm right:

Just as astonishing was a comment made in a guide to adoption published by a state-funded national agency, the British Association for Adoption and Fostering. Its new booklet, the Pink Guide to Adoption for Lesbians and Gay Men, describes people who oppose gay adoption as “retarded homophobes”. The association repeated this choice phrase on its Be My Parent website, although it has since been removed. This again was a shocking glimpse of the unmasked teeth of vicious bigotry, made even worse by unselfconscious hypocrisy.

Imagine shouting 'daddy' and both your 'parents' look round! No, it's just wrong. but then I'm just a "retarded homophobe".

Jonathan Ross-Again!

Poor old Jonathan Ross is being attacked again, it's perhaps a symptom of the creeping fascism of political correctness. Dare to make a joke about an imaginary gay teenage son and up pop the PC brigade full of (im)moral outrage. Here's one report of the latest fuss concerning 'Wossy':

Jonathan Ross is under fire again after suggesting parents should put their sons up for adoption if they wanted a Hannah Montana MP3 player.

A number of listeners complained to the broadcasting watchdog, claiming the comments on his Radio 2 show on Saturday were homophobic.

Ross, 48, was involved in a light-hearted discussion about prizes in a competition themed around the fictional teen pop star when he joked: "If your son asks for a Hannah Montana MP3 player, you might want to already think about putting him down for adoption before he brings his...erm...partner home."

A spokeswoman for Ofcom was unable to say how many people had complained but said: "We have had complaints. We are assessing those complaints against the broadcasting code."

Listener Karen Mills told Pink News: "How can these people earn such huge sums of public money to come out with this discriminatory rubbish?

"What would be the message to a young gay man listening to this? Worse still, how might such comments reinforce and support homophobic bullying in the playground?"

Ross has not been far from controversy in the past year, only returning to the airwaves in January after being involved in the Andrew Sachs lewd phone calls row.

The BBC suspended him for 12 weeks without pay in October after he and fellow DJ Russell Brand left obscene messages on Sachs' answerphone, which were broadcast on Radio 2. The two presenters said Brand had slept with the Fawlty Towers actor's granddaughter, Georgina Baillie, and joked that Sachs might kill himself.

Ross walked straight back into controversy on his radio show after his suspension was lifted, by joking about having sex with an elderly woman.

A BBC spokeswoman said: "The BBC has received four complaints about Jonathan's comments on Saturday's show. However, these off-the-cuff remarks were made purely in jest and were not intended to be offensive. Jonathan is not homophobic in any sense and never meant for his comments to be taken seriously."

I think the last paragraph says it all really. The miltant gay lobby needs to practice some of the tolerance it ignorantly accuses the rest of the population of lacking.

I don't think many people have a problem with homosexuality these days. What people do tend to have a problem with is anybody, gay or straight, lacking a sense of humour, such as Karen Mills.

They also dislike the constant harping on about their sexuality of militant gays whose lives seem to centre exclusively on their sexuality. A truly rounded person wouldn't whine on constantly about their homosexuality and certainly wouldn't be offended by humorous remarks such as those made by Jonathan Ross.

Forsooth, the ladies do protest too much!

Can't Be Bothered Today

I'm trying to get some writing done but can't really concentrate. I might just bugger it and watch Coventry v Chelsea. As I can't be bothered blogging either I will just stick the piece below on, no need for comment:

Action has been taken against parents who took their children out of school in protest over lessons on lesbian, gay and bisexual history, a council said.

Dozens of parents took children out of Leytonstone's George Tomlinson primary school, saying their children are too young to learn about such matters.

A Waltham Forest Council spokesman said that the absences were "unauthorised" and action has been taken.

Britain Is Homophobic!

Yet another useless study by a so-called 'academic' has been published. Here is a link to the Torygraph report.

Here is Dr Jones's brief summary of his findings:

Dr Pete Jones, who led the research, said: "Without detracting from the seriousness of the prejudice that still exists against people because of their ethnic origin, the results of our study suggest that being gay or lesbian could be 'the new black' when it comes to being a victim of prejudice.

Well yippidee Doc, I could have told you that without spending months, if not years, doing pointless research. But this next quote from the article is much more telling:

The study found that while seven per cent of volunteers were "strongly" anti-gay, 35 per cent had underlying prejudices against homosexual men and 41 per cent against homosexual women.

If 7% of people are "strongly anti-gay" then by their reckoning less than 7% of the population could be "strongly racist". As ever, when the PC brigade gets disappointing results that fail to prove theier case they then try and claim that, 30% (or whatever) show underlying racism/homophobia or whatever else they want to prove British society guilty of. 'Underlying' means, to them, that there's no evidence at all so we are probably hiding it very well, and are guilty as charged regardless.

Personally I am pleasantly surprised by the figures. To hear the Trevor Phillips and Peter Tatchell's of this world we are one step away from a nation about to introduce apartheid to protect us from other races and sexualities. Obviously not.

I am more convinced than ever that the figures would be even lower without the hysteria of the race relations/equality/divesity industry pissing people off.
