Bob Spink MP

Great news today. Bob Spink MP, former Tory, has joined the UK Independence Party giving us our first Member of Parliament. I particularly agree with his opposition to abortion.

Read all about it!

It's a start I guess.

It is that and it knocks down a mental barrier I hope.

Gregg, as David Bergland says, abortion ".. is a rare issue where libertarians can disagree."

I think I'll let Trixy have the last word on this.

I believe, very strongly, that conception creates a human life, therefore abortion is wrong from a libertarian perspective.

Too many people use it as a form of contraception, which it was never meant to be. Just take responsibility for not getting pregnant in the first place, there's not exactly a shortage of contaception is there?

However, I suppose if a couple, in the 21st century, can't avoid an unwanted pregnancy would you really want them as your parents?!

Nope. That was Steve Levitt's point.
