Pope Benedict's Visit 2010

It was great news yesterday, at least for those of us in the Roman Catholic Church, that Pope Benedict XVI is to visit England later this year.

Of course there will inevitably be rabid demonstrations opposed to his visit. It increasingly seems that the glorious freedom and democracy the Labour government want to spread to places like Iraq doesn't apply to Christians in the UK.

The Pope was right to speak out against even more oppressive "equality" legislation that will force Catholics, and Catholic organisation, to go against deeply held moral and religious beliefs.

I for one will be there cheering the Pope as loudly as I can when he visits these shores.

The pope should NOT be allowed to visit our shores.
His involvement in concealing the disgusting treatment of children over many years is so disgusting that he should be sentenced to Life Imprisonment. (Oh that this were possible.)
I, as a TaxPayer, fail to see why I should be asked to contribute to the cost of his visit.
The Catholic Church should sell all its' assets, sack all their Clergy (after jailing about 90% for similar reasons), donate all their resultant funds to the counselling and care of the abused, then take their shady and despicable teachings/preachings and VANISH for good.

No idiocy on my part!
ANYONE involved in paedophilia should be sacked.
Let's just hope the organisation intending to have him arrested on arrival are successful.

You're clearly an emotional cripple and I feel very, very sorry for you. I think you need help for your psychological problems and I think you need it quicky.

Other than that actually do some research before shooting your mouth off about things that you clearly know nothing about.

Now, go away and lie down in a darkened room.
