Leaving the European Union

While the Eurofanatics continue, at best, to behave like ostriches, at worst like Hitler in the last days in the bunker, others are taking a cool and considered approach to the collapse of the Euro and the eventual disappearance of the EU in its current incarnation.

One such is non-attached member of the European Parliament Trevor Colman. Whilst I know MEPs will actually achieve nothing in helping us gain independence from the EU, most of the honest ones accept themselves that they have no power thankfully, at least Trevor is using his position, as does Nikki Sinclaire MEP, to expose the truth about the EU from the inside.

Trevor has produced an excellent film on the expensive con that is the European Union and I urge you to watch it by clicking on this link to his website.

What happened to the earlier comments Gregg? You haven't taken to illiberal censorship have you?

Nay, nay lad. Not had any comments on this post. Are you thinking of my 'Humourless Socialist Pillocks' post from Saturday?

Maybe my posts are getting too samey!

Ah! I suppose it could be, although I would have sworn I commented here as well.

No your posts aren't getting too "samey". You can't over-post against the EU - it's impossible. I always look forward to reading your posts, even though I don't share your RC faith, when you do get religious it isn't overbearing.

That's very kind Sean, thanks.

Recent events appear to have outed the EU as the rather shady pyramid scheme that most of us saw it for years ago.

Gregg, do I get any extra points for thinking we should leave way back when I was 17? Most people that age are wacked out Euro-fanatics.

Never did complete that UKIP application form...

You do Daz. But I'm going to trump you. I was 15 at the time of the referendum and was having lunch at Headingley during a Pakistan Australia World Cup game. My uncle had to stop me lecturing anybody who would listen to vote to get out.

That's some nice work Gregg - any sense of misplaced idealism clearly did not last long!!

Maybe I was born with a deep mistrust of authority.
