Young Drivers


Here's an example of the kind of thing that bumps up car insurance for younger drivers. It's a church roof.

You should have seen the way I drove when I was young and first passed my driving test in 1965 - I had the fasted Morris Traveler on the road! Then, three years later, when I got my hands on a Triumph Spitfire I was nicknamed 'Boy Racer'!

These days my driving is far more sedate in my old Rover, but when you look at that photo, there but for the grace of God go I, as they say. That boy racer will live and learn.
